Brand Guide

pickle.tours

Everything needed to use the mark correctly — logo files, colour values, type, and the handful of rules that keep it consistent across a bus wrap, a paddle cover and a 16-pixel browser tab.

02 — Space & size

Clear space and minimum size

Keep clear space on all sides equal to the radius of the ball. Nothing — type, rules, photo edges, other logos — enters that zone.

PRINT MIN — 32 mm wide
SCREEN MIN — 120 px wide
MARK MIN — 48 px
One mark at every size

The favicon is the mark itself, squared and cropped to fill the frame — no separate simplified artwork. Interior linework softens below 32 px; ship the multi-resolution favicon.ico so the browser picks the best rendering.

03 — Colour

Palette

Two brand colours carry the identity. Three supporting neutrals and one accent do everything else.

Pickle Green
Primary

Optic Yellow

Chalk
Neutral

Ink
Neutral
#14211FBody copy on light backgrounds.
Clay
Accent
#E9603ESparingly — eyebrows, one CTA per screen.

Contrast — measured, not assumed

Clay is not a body-text colour

At 3.10:1 on Chalk it clears AA only for large text (24 px+, or 19 px bold). Use it for eyebrows, rules and a single call-to-action per screen — never for paragraphs.

One yellow, not two

The site previously used #D6E533 while the logo uses #E6FB20. Two near-identical greens that aren't the same green is exactly what a brand guide exists to prevent. #E6FB20 wins — it comes from the artwork. Update the site token and retire the old value.

04 — Typography

Type

Syne for display, Karla for everything else. Both are open-licence and already loaded on pickle.tours.

Dink your way across the USA
Karla sets body copy, captions, buttons and table data. It holds up at small sizes and doesn't fight the display face.
Syne 600 / 700 / 800 · tracking −0.02em · line-height 1.04 for headings
Karla 400 / 500 / 700 · line-height 1.65 for body
The wordmark is artwork, not type

PICKLE.TOURS in the logo is drawn on a fixed arc with custom letterfitting. It is not Syne and cannot be reproduced by setting type on a curve. Always place the supplied file.

05 — Icons & avatars

Small sizes

All derived from the same mark — the wordmark drops away, nothing is redrawn.

06 — Misuse

Don't

Don't recolourThe two brand colours are fixed. No gradients, no alternate greens.
Don't stretchScale proportionally. The ball is already slightly taller than wide — that's intentional.
Don't rotateThe wordmark arc sets the horizon. Keep it level.
Don't add effectsNo drop shadows, bevels, outer glows or strokes.

07 — Files

Downloads

Every logo above downloads as vector SVG or a 2048 px PNG with a transparent background, straight from this page. SVG for anything that scales; PNG only where SVG isn't accepted.
